The significant progress that has been achieved in addressing the problems of Akamas, without ignoring the particularities of the communities of the region, was highlighted at a meeting at the Presidential Palace.
As mentioned at the meeting, the Government's goal is to announce the Akamas Local Plan in March 2022.
In a written statement, Deputy Government Spokesperson Niovi Parisinou said that the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, chaired a meeting on the issue of Akamas at the Presidential Palace today.
