In the last 24 hours, the Police filed a complaint against 17 citizens for violation of the Ordinances.
A spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told CNA that 2,159 checks were carried out nationwide in the last 24 hours, while a total of 17 complaints were made by citizens for violation of the measures. There were no complaints against any establishment.
Specifically in Nicosia, 551 checks were carried out and two complaints were made by citizens, while in Limassol, after 136 checks, 4 complaints were made by citizens.
In Larnaca 477 checks were carried out and 6 citizens were complained against, in Paphos after 220 checks one citizen was complained against, while in Famagusta 4 complaints were made against citizens after 458 checks. In Morphou 119 checks were carried out without any complaints.
