A total of 12 establishments and 15 citizens were denounced by the police in the last 24 hours as part of the checks for the implementation of the orders against the spread of COVID-19.
As a spokesperson for the Police Headquarters Press Office told CNA, a total of 2800 checks were carried out nationwide. In Nicosia 583 checks were carried out and complaints were made against 2 establishments and 3 citizens; in Limassol 523 checks were carried out and complaints were made against 4 establishments and 3 citizens; in Larnaca 772 checks were carried out and complaints were made against 1 establishment and 3 citizens; and in Paphos 152 checks were carried out and complaints were made against 2 establishments and 3 citizens.
