A 52-year-old man was arrested at Larnaca airport, who is wanted by the Russian authorities on the basis of an international warrant for the crime of rape, allegedly committed in Russia.
According to a statement by the Police Communication Branch "members of the Police in Larnaca arrested a 52-year-old man, who is wanted by the Russian authorities on the basis of an international warrant, for the extradition of which the Russian authorities have informed Interpol. According to the international warrant, the 52-year-old man is wanted for the offence of rape, allegedly committed in Russia."
