At 90%, the occupancy of the Reference Hospital has reached 90%, as 39 patients are being treated, including 8 in the Intensive Care Unit, because they need closer monitoring. The youngest patient with coronavirus is 24 years old and the oldest 97, both with no history of vaccination, Amalia Hatzigianni, Scientific Director of Larnaca - Famagusta Hospitals, told CNA. Dr Hatzigianni also pointed out that the vaccine plays a big role in the fight against coronavirus.
