A 31-year-old man was detained for illegal stay in the territory of the Republic.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou, at 10:30 on Wednesday morning members of the Aliens and Immigration Service arrested a person, aged 31, in the area of the Pafos District Court for the offence of illegal stay in the territory of the Republic.
According to police records, the 31-year-old allegedly arrived in the Republic on February 12, 2021 via Larnaca airport, and was granted a student permit to attend college in Nicosia until July 31, 2021.
