[CNA] 3,042 COVID-19 cases detected, 257 hospitalized, no deaths on Friday

No patient deaths with COVID-19 as the final cause of death were recorded on Friday, bringing the total number of deaths to 672, while 3,042 new cases of COVID-19 were detected by PCR and antigen rapid tests, bringing the total number of cases to 221,416. The positivity rate is 2.49%.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, 257 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, of which 91 are in serious condition. 73.16% of the hospitalized patients have no history of vaccination.

In addition, 18 post-COVID patients who ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in an ICU.
