Police today arrested a 29-year-old man from Paphos, suspected of burglarizing 17 offices of community councils in the Limassol district and stealing property worth 16,656 euros.
According to the Limassol CID, the burglaries occurred between September and December 2021, while among the stolen goods were two credit cards, from which a total amount of 1,480 euros was withdrawn.
Police examinations have provided testimony against the 29-year-old, who was arrested today in Paphos and will be transferred to the offices of Limassol CID for questioning.
Tomorrow he is expected to be brought before a court for a detention order.
