The Paphos District Court on Sunday issued a three-day detention order against a 28-year-old man for impersonation, forgery and circulation of a forged document in Paphos to facilitate investigations.
According to the Paphos Police Department Press Officer and Head of the Paphos Police Department, Michalis Nicolaou, a man presented on Saturday during passport control at Paphos airport, where he had gone in order to leave for France, travel documents which were suspected to be forged.
Interrogated, he gave his true identity, was arrested and yesterday, after being brought before the Court, he was placed under a three-day detention order.
