In the last 24 hours, the police filed complaints against 28 citizens and 5 establishments, after 2,582 checks carried out nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act.
A spokesman for the Police Headquarters Communication Branch told CNA that 977 checks were carried out in Nicosia, which resulted in 5 complaints from citizens and 1 sub-station, while in Limassol 200 checks were carried out, which resulted in 6 complaints from citizens.
