A 26-year-old woman was detained for illegally staying in the territory of the Republic.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou, at 06:30 on Thursday morning, members of the Paphos Immigration and Aliens Service went to an apartment complex in the area of Tremithousa to investigate information given that a foreign woman was staying illegally in that place.
After further checking by the members of the Paphos YMCA, a 26-year-old foreign woman was located, who, after checking her details, was found to have arrived via Larnaca airport on 2 April 2021 and was granted a residence permit as a visitor until 1 July 2021.
