A total of 2,952 checks were carried out by the police in the last 24 hours as part of the controls for measures against coronavirus during which 18 citizens and 6 managers of establishments were reported.
Speaking to CNA, a spokesman for the Police Communication Branch said that in Nicosia 1,452 checks were carried out and one citizen and one manager of an establishment were reported and in Larnaca 482 checks were carried out and two establishments and 6 citizens were reported.
