A 23-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday by members of the police, was placed under arrest by court order today, in the context of a drug investigation, namely the possession and supply of half a kilo of cannabis, which was found last November in the possession of a second man, aged 25.
According to a police statement, the quantity of cannabis was found on 15 November, around 11.00 at noon, when members of the police stopped the vehicle driven by the 25-year-old man for a traffic control on a road in Nicosia.
