The commission of 70 thefts from cars and two burglaries and thefts, in Famagusta province, was allegedly confessed by a 19-year-old resident of Famagusta province, who was arrested on Friday to facilitate interrogations.
According to a statement by the Communication Branch of the Police, these are cases committed in recent months in municipalities and communities of Famagusta province "for the treatment of which a special investigative team was set up by the local Police Directorate".
It is also reported that in the context of the investigation of the cases, testimony against the 19-year-old was secured, on the basis of which a warrant for his arrest was secured against him.
