A total of 2,280 checks were carried out by the police in the last 24 hours as part of controls for measures against coronavirus during which 15 citizens and managers of 3 establishments were reported.
Speaking to CNA, a representative of the Police Communication Branch said that in Nicosia, 970 checks were carried out and one citizen was denounced, in Limassol after 217 checks the managers of two establishments and 4 citizens were denounced, in Larnaca 391 checks were carried out and 2 citizens were denounced, while in Famagusta after 354 checks 7 citizens were denounced.
