A 16-year-old boy permanently residing in Cyprus has been arrested for burglary and theft.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, a 40-year-old man reported on 16.1.22 that his residence was broken into on 10.12.21 from 07:00 in the morning until 16:00 in the afternoon and during the time he was absent from it.
From the burglary the alleged offender allegedly took from him - according to the complaint - men's watches and some tools with a total value of 1,790 euros.
The complainant said that while inspecting photos on a media outlet he saw a 16-year-old boy wearing his watch and also the sunglasses that were stolen from his residence. The 16-year-old is a friend of the complainant's son and, according to the complaint, visited the 40-year-old's residence frequently.
