In the last 24 hours, the police have received 16 complaints from citizens and 7 establishments for violation of measures against the spread of coronavirus.
A spokesman for the police communication branch told CNA that in the last 24 hours, which ended at 06:00 on Monday morning, a total of 2,395 checks were carried out throughout Cyprus.
In Nicosia 787 checks were carried out and 5 managers of establishments and 7 citizens were denounced, in Limassol 234 checks were carried out and 2 managers of establishments and 4 citizens were denounced, in Larnaca 540 checks were carried out with one citizen's complaint, in Paphos no checks were carried out, in Famagusta 4 citizens were denounced after 399 checks and in Morphou no complaints were made after 239 checks.
No complaints were received after 178 checks by the Traffic Police Departments and 18 checks by L
