Air Moldova ?? reported that it is in a difficult situation due to blocked financial accounts. For this reason, the airline yesterday was unable to pay for Chisinau airport services, the planes which are leased.

At present, Air Moldova has certain arrangements with the creditor and negotiations are ongoing to come to other compromises. The company notes that it continues to operate normally.

Right now, all three planes in the Air Moldova fleet are not flying: two are in France and one in Chisinau. According to Flightradar24, Air Moldova rents planes for its flights from the Ukrainian company SkyUp and the Croatian company ETF Airways.

Just to remind, Air Moldova, starting from April 26, plans to open flights between Larnaca and Chisinau. The flights are still on schedule, but there may be schedule adjustments in the background of this news. Watch for alerts from the airline.
