Air Moldova announced that as of today, May 2, it is suspending flights and ticket sales.
This is because the company has launched an accelerated restructuring, which aims to avoid bankruptcy.
Air Moldova said it found investors willing to invest $50 million to develop the airline. This amount could solve Air Moldova's financial problems and add to its fleet.
Thus, until the court decision on accepting or rejecting the company's restructuring request, flights will not be operated and ticket sales will be suspended.
The resumption of operations will be possible within 3 days after the court decision," reports Air Moldova.
Just to remind, Air Moldova had planned to open flights between Larnaca ?? and Chisinau from April 26, but due to financial difficulties Air Moldova postponed the start until May 3. Later it was postponed again to June 3.
