MP Panicos Leonidou, head of the Cypriot delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy (IPA), will travel to Hungary tomorrow to lead a delegation of the Assembly, following an invitation by the Secretary General of the IPA, Greek MP Dr Maximos Charakopoulos. The delegation will also include the Serbian MP Mr. Alexandr Cotric, the representative of the Greek minority in the Hungarian National Assembly Mr. Laokratis Koranis and the IOA Counsellor Mr. Kostas Mugdalis.

As part of the programme, the delegation will be received by the President of the Hungarian National Assembly, László Kövér, and will have a meeting with the Prayer Prayer Group of the Hungarian National Assembly: The Temples of the Wisdom of God around the World", at the Byzantium Centre of the Eötvös József College in Budapest.

On Wednesday, 7 June 2023, the IOA delegation will travel to Vienna, where it will have separate meetings with a delegation of the International Network of Catholic Legislators, the Catholic Archbishop of Vienna, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn and the Orthodox Metropolitan of Austria, Arsenio.
