[PIO] Forest fire at the borders of Aradippou Municipality under full control

The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that yesterday, Sunday, 04 June 2023 at 11:50, a fire broke out in the boundaries of Aradippou Municipality, near the State Forest of Moutti of Zygos.

The fire was brought under control at 12:40, after burning an area of 3 decares of low wild vegetation.

6 persons of the Forestry Department with 2 fire engines worked to extinguish the fire.

The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
