[CNA] Deepening of relations, signing of agreements and memorandum of understanding during the official visit of King Jordan to Cyprus

The official visit of King Abdullah II of Jordan to Cyprus on Friday is aimed at further deepening relations between Cyprus and Jordan. During the visit, two agreements and a memorandum of understanding will be signed between the two countries.


The agreements to be signed concern the avoidance of double taxation and the extradition of fugitives. A memorandum will also be signed between the Foreign Ministries of Cyprus and Jordan for cooperation between the two countries. The agreements and the memorandum will be signed on behalf of the Republic of Cyprus by the Ministers of Finance, Constantinos Petrides, Justice and Public Order, Stefi Drakou, and Foreign Affairs, Nikos Christodoulides.


President Anastasiades and King Abdullah II are expected to discuss ways to further strengthen relations between Cyprus and Jordan. In Ajd
